St Mullins
County Carlow
St Moling (697) founded a monastery here. There are five churches in a row: the first goes back in part to1000, the second is 15C, the third is the small Oratory of ‘St James’ of uncertain date, while the last 2 are post mediaeval. There is a 12C Cross in an earlier base, also the stump of a Round Tower. There is a Holy Well nearby.

Temple na Boe is found just outside the village on the road to Graiguenamanagh.
